Late nights, icing sugar and lovely customers…12 days of spring fever and cake madness

Wednesday, May 27th, 2009

marshmallow cupcakePhewee…..so the spring market is over and here at Dish and Spoon HQ, we are pooped but in a ‘no pain, no gain’, just been to the gym kinda way. The 12 days passed in a whirl of icing sugar, crumbs and LOTS of Tupperware and we loved every minute. We felt very cosy and at-home in our temporary Alpine dwellings and made some lovely trader friends (special mention to ‘soup james’ who did a grand job of guarding the cakes whilst we spent a penny in M&S!).

Thankyou to all our customers, who not only bought our treats but kept us going through the late nights with their lovely comments and emails. We would also like to say a special thanks to our army of wonderful friends and family (momma dooks walker, jonny, jenn, Maz & Charlotte) without whom we would have had even less shut-eye!

Don’t forget to come and see us next at Northenden Farmers market on Saturday 6th June – come early before we sell out of your favourites!

P.S. We have a new favourite cupcake topping – marshmallow-tastic (see piccie). Hope you like it as much as we do!
