Saturday, July 11th, 2009
Busy Bee Toys are a chorlton stalwart…been around for ever and a day. So it was a sad day when it looked like the days of the favourite children’s toy shop may be numbered. Fortunately, some community spirited Chorltonians got their heads together and formed a co-operative to save the shop and it’s grand re-opening is set for Saturday 11th July –yey! Visit their new website http://www.busybeetoyshop.co.uk/ to find out more about this great little shop for kids.
So how can cakes and bees be related you may ask?? Well the cake is a truly versatile animal and can lend itself to many occasions. As such, we were only too happy to get our yellow and black sprinkle selection out and whip up a batch of cakes to help Busy Bees celebrate their big day.
Good luck to all the team!
