New cake flavours to make an appearance at Piccadilly Farmer’s Market this weekend (21st & 22nd August) …

Whilst it saddens us to admit that summer is drawing to a close, at And The Dish Ran Away With The Spoon we try to embrace all things autumnal and never more so than in our cake flavours. Sooo new on the menu this weekend will be our scrummy Chocolate Orange Brownie (fret not brownie purists, the old one will still be there too) and continuing with the choc theme an ‘After Eight’ cupcake will be making an appearance too (that’s chocolate sponge with peppermint icing don’t you know). For those of you who can’t bear to part with summer just yet, the summer stalwart …. Queen Victoria Sponge will still be available to buy!
So, why not get yourselves down to our farmer’s market stall this weekend and buy yourself lots of cake goodies that you can munch in front of the new series of X-Factor on Saturday night (yep it’s that time of year again!).
Hope you like the pictures….we had Afternoon Tea for Three at Dish and Spoon last weekend, a treat for some lovely friends, thought the piccies looked quite good really!
Wedding fever takes a grip of And The Dish Ran Away With The Spoon…

Apologies that we’ve been a little quiet on the blog front recently, we have been well and truly swept away by wedding fever!! It seems that the world and his wife decided to get married in July this year (not that we are complaining) and Dish and Spoon HQ has been working like the clappers to produce lots of lovely wedding cupcakes….
We do love a good wedding, even better a lovely summer do. We particularly liked Emma’s English Country Garden theme. It may be raining cats and dogs outside thanks to the pesky English weather but summer was alive and well in Knutsford this week thanks to these lovely little fellas!
