TREAT MUM TO A LOVELY BOX OF BROWNIES OR CUPCAKES FOR MOTHER’S DAY THIS YEAR …. TAKING ORDERS NOW!
Thursday, February 25th, 2010
Mum’s … they put up with a lot really. Looking after you until you flee the nest and even then (despite apparently being a grown up) they still manage to find time to do your washing or lend you a tenner
here and there. Why not repay your lovely mum with some homemade goodies this year to say thank you. Whether mum is a cupcake lady or has more of a hankering for a good gooey brownie, we can box them up and giftwrap them with ribbon and a lovely message from your good selves.
You’ll earn so many brownie points, you won’t know what to do with them J
BROWNIE HEAVEN IN THE DISH RAN AWAY WITH THE SPOON KITCHEN! COME AND SAMPLE SOME AT PICCADILLY FARMERS MARKET 26TH & 27TH FEBRUARY
Friday, February 19th, 2010
No sooner was Valentines Day done and dusted and we donned our aprons once again to get whipping up some new creations in the Dish Ran Away With The Spoon kitchen. Not sure whether it’s the time of year (spring cleaning an’ all that) that has brought about this desire for change but in our view new cakes can only ever be a good thing.
We have been told from time-to-time that our brownie is the best brownie in the world (modest aren’t we!) So … we decided to play around with our trusty, squidgy, chocolatey favourite to create some new variations. So far this week has seen the birth of the squidgy choc-banana brownie, the dark choc with white choc and raspberries brownie, chewy fruit and nut brownies and last but by no blinkin means least peanut butter marbled brownie….yes people you did hear us right, a marbled brownie!
Not only this but we knocked up a blinding version of that retro classic, Coffee and Walnut layer cake this week and so all in all we are giving ourselves a right good pat on the back.
Come and see us at Piccadilly Farmer’s Market next weekend (27th & 28th February). If you are lucky, we may well be showcasing some of our new creations there!
See you next weekend!
