You’ll find our little cake shop & tea room at 230 Burton Road, West Didsbury, Manchester, M20 2LW (opposite the co-op)

Our Tea Room
Here you’ll find a shrine to all things sweet; with cakes, slices, brownies, and puddings baked fresh every day.  We believe there is nothing better than tucking into a slab of home-made cake washed down with a great cuppa (we are regularly complimented on our coffee, its fair trade Union Roasted)! You can take away to enjoy back at yours, or sit in and take in the delights of our little café which has featured in The Independent’s Top 50 Tea Rooms in the UK!

Why not treat yourself to our fantastic Afternoon Tea (served Thursday to Sunday from 1pm) or our new Baked Breakfast (served all week from opening til 1pm-ish)

We’re not about fancy pastries or posh delicacies here. Our attitude is simple, an unashamed celebration of British baking using cracking local suppliers and really good ingredients.

We’re very family-friendly and have baby-changing (one of the few places on Burton Road), high-chairs, a pram parking area and lots of toys and crayons for the little’uns.

As well as filling your face with cake, you can also check out our fantastic range of gifts and cakey accessories, or attend one of our regular classes or craft events…

Our usual opening times can be found below. For Easter 2013 we will be open as below except the Easter Sunday when we will be closed.

Sat: 10.00 – 17.00
Sun: 11.00 – 17.00

Venue Hire:

Our tea-room is available to hire for exclusive use or as a location for filming. You can BYO your own fizz and we can, of course, provide splendid tea and cakes. Get in touch to find out more!
