Cake Shop & Tea Room

You’ll find our little cake shop & tea room at
230 Burton Road, West Didsbury, Manchester, M20 2LW (opposite the co-op)

Here you’ll find a shrine to all things sweet; with cakes, slices, brownies, and puddings baked fresh every day. We believe there is nothing better than tucking into a slab of home-made cake washed down with a great cuppa (we are regularly complimented on our coffee -its fair trade Union Roasted)!

You can take away to enjoy back at yours, or sit in and take in the delights of our little café. Or why not treat yourself to our fantastic Afternoon Tea, served every weekend from 1pm

We’re not about fancy pastries or posh delicacies here. Our attitude is simple, an unashamed celebration of basic British baking using cracking local suppliers and really good ingredients.

We’re very family-friendly and have baby-changing (one of the few places on Burton Road), high-chairs, a pram parking area and lots of toys and crayons for the little’uns. As well as filling your face with cake, you can also check out our fantastic range of gifts and cakey accessories, or attend one of our cupcake decorating classes or regular craft events…

Markets

Alternatively, we can still sometimes be found braving the wonderful Manchester weather and serving up our cakes, cupcakes and other treats at Farmers Market’s in Manchester. We’re not a regular on any markets at present, but we occasionally frequent the West Didsbury Market, held every 4th Sat of the month on Withington Hospital Car Park
